Z Whitianga temporary closure: We want to let you know that from 3 April 2016, we’ll be temporarily closing the service station for approximately 10 weeks to install new underground fuel tanks and give the shop a makeover. We recognise the need for our Z Card customers to still get fuel during the closure so we’ve arranged for an alternative re-fuelling location for you at Gull Whitianga, 5 Monk St, Whitianga.All fuel transactions will be processed manually (using a paper voucher) rather than electronically which means there will be some changes to the way your Z Card is processed.
- Pricing will continue as per your Z Card account settings. If you’re set up to collect Fly Buys or AirpointsTM, this will also continue
- Z Card cardholders will need to sign for purchases rather than use a PIN so please ensure the back of your card is signed
- Your Z Card can be used for fuel purchases only but not for any other products such as shop items
- Any spend limits or fuel product restrictions you set for your Z Card/s will not apply at Gull
- Transactions made in the last week of the month may show up on the following month’s invoice
- Any Z Cards that have been cancelled will still be able to make purchases so we ask that you make every effort to retrieve and destroy any cancelled Z Cards under your account.
We apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause for you. When Z Whitianga re-opens, it’ll have brand new fuel tanks and pumps to keep it going for years to come, as well as Z Espress coffee and hot drinks, tasty Kiwi-made pies and our range of fresh food. In the meantime, for our customers in the Thames-Coromandel district your nearest alternative Z service stations are:

BP 2go Blenheim will be undergoing a transformation and will soon reopen as a brand new BP Connect site with a Wild Bean Cafe, three grades of fuel (91, BP Ultimate 98 & BP Ultimate Diesel), a carwash & LPG bottle swap. Unfortunately, the old BP 2go Blenheim site will be closed from Saturday the 9th of April to Wednesday the 11th of May while it is rebuilt.
